by admin477351

Thursday brought a welcome reprieve from the intense heat to several areas of Delhi-NCR as a strong storm and heavy rainfall swept through the region. The skies were blanketed with thick clouds, and the accompanying gusty winds and rain created a pleasant change in the weather.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for the next two days, warning of potential rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds in some areas. The department advises residents to stay updated with weather forecasts and alerts during this period.

In a related development, the IMD has announced the arrival of the southwest monsoon in Kerala, marking the formal commencement of the four-month-long monsoon season across the country. According to the weather department, the monsoon is expected to gradually advance towards other parts of India in the coming days.

Experts suggest that the recent rainfall in Delhi-NCR will lead to a drop in temperatures, providing much-needed relief from the scorching heat that has persisted in recent days.
